Worldwide Virtual – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
By registering with or using Worldwide Virtual, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, please do not use our website, ACARS client, or related services. You must be 13 years or older to join. Users under the age of consent in their country must have parental permission.
2. What We’re About
Worldwide Virtual exists for fun, learning, and aviation community engagement. We are a non-commercial, fan-run group not affiliated with any airline, simulator, or manufacturer. You can fly realistic routes or your preferred aircraft type. Use common sense and respect other pilots.
3. Community Conduct
You agree to treat all members with respect, avoid harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or disruptive behavior, use our communication channels (e.g., Discord, forums, events) responsibly, and not impersonate other pilots, staff, or any real-world airline. Admins may suspend or terminate accounts at their discretion for violations. Membership is a privilege, not a right.
4. Flight Logging and Simulator Data
Our systems collect operational data such as flight time, aircraft type, and simulator position reports via ACARS. We do not collect personal data from your simulator software. Do not falsify flight reports, edit ACARS logs, or exploit system loopholes. Violations may result in suspension.
5. Privacy and Data Use
We collect only the information needed to operate your account (for example, name, email, flight activity). Your data is used to operate your account and pilot profile, display flight statistics and leaderboards, and send important service notifications. We do not sell personal data and only disclose data if required by law. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. Inactive accounts (no PIREPs filed in 3 months) may be removed after a reminder email.
6. Intellectual Property
All material on this website, unless otherwise stated, is © Worldwide Virtual. Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and related brands are property of their respective owners. Worldwide Virtual is a fan-based, non-commercial organization and claims no affiliation. You may not reproduce or redistribute content from Worldwide Virtual without written permission.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not upload or share malicious code or files, attempt to access restricted systems or data, or engage in spam, advertising, or automated data scraping. We reserve the right to restrict access or remove accounts that violate these terms.
8. Liability
Worldwide Virtual provides all services “as is.” We make no guarantees about uptime, data accuracy, or uninterrupted access. We are not responsible for any data loss, downtime, or damage caused by using our website or ACARS software.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
